Tipsy Tuesday
Today's tip is short and sweet. One of the keys to great writing is to get to know your characters just as well as you know real people in your life. You know what your spouse/sister/brother/best friend will say or do in any given situation because you know him/her that well. But sometimes our family and friends will surprise us by doing or saying something completely unexpected. It's what keeps life interesting.
When the same thing happens with your characters, and you capture it in your book, it's what keeps your readers turning the pages.
