Tipsy Tuesday
Generally when I talk to unpublished authors, part of the advice I give is "Write, write, write. Read, read, read. Then write some more." Because in the last few years that's just how driven I've been to establish my writing career. But there's another bit of advice I have, too.
Take time for yourself.
Whether that's a day or a week, in between projects or smack dab in the middle of one, you have to give your brain some time off from writing, or you'll burn out. So make sure you spend some time away from the computer. (*gasp* I know, sacrilege, right? LOL) But you'll be glad you did.

I've got the "read, read, read" part down pat, but I still have a lot of work to do on the "write, write, write" part. :-)
LOL!!
I usually take a break from writing to discuss story lines with the horses. I have a whole barn of listening ears. Of course you can discuss all kinds of story lines with them as long as you are massaging or grooming. They will listen all day long! hehe AND they don't give away the plot line I am crafting.
That is usually how I take a break. Other than that, writing is my mental vacation and I am there any time I can be! :) FUN!! hehe
